We are SmartCredit Ltd T/A SmartSearch that delivers Anti Money Laundering (AML) searches and verifications services on Individuals and Businesses across the UK and International Markets, including automatic Sanction & PEP screening.

This is information about your use of our websites, such as what pages you have visited and what content you have downloaded.

Personal Data

With your given consent, we process personal information from your identity documents, which is captured from your mobile camera through  Mobile App SmartIDV. 

This data includes privacy-sensitive information like name, date of birth, personal number and document number.

5. WHO DO WE SHARE THE INFORMATION WITH?

Service providers

We may provide your information to third parties who help us use it. For example:

● We might use a third party email broadcasting service in order to send you marketing emails (if you have agreed to receive them).

● We might use a printing company to produce and send personalised direct mail.

● Our database of personal data may be held by third parties on our behalf.

● We use third party technology providers to support our services from our mobile app.

These service providers will not be allowed to use your information for their own purposes or on behalf of other organisations.

 Within Europe We are based in the United Kingdom, and will normally access and use your information from here.

Our services (from our website and mobile app) use industry standard encryption to protect your data in transit. This is commonly referred to as transport layer security (“TLS”) or secure socket layer (“SSL”) technology. However, these Internet data transmissions are not guaranteed 100% secure, and as a result, we cannot ensure the security of information during its transmission between you and us; accordingly, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk.

7. FOR HOW LONG IS THE INFORMATION RETAINED?

 We will normally keep your personal data while you or your employer have an ongoing relationship with us or if you have demonstrated an interest in our products and services within the past two years. You can request us to delete it earlier as explained in section 9.
